During the day, you can enjoy reader parties, browse our bookstore, or get a chance to chat with your favorite authors. Book Lovers of all stripes will find something to enjoy at the Book Lovers Convention. Any events specific to readers or authors are listed in the event description.
Book Lovers Con is a safe and celebratory environment for ALL bibliophiles! The authors attending BLC write across various genres, offering something for everyone.
Yes! There will be a book store on site that will provide you with the chance to buy our authors’ books! Our authors will adobe selling books at their tables.
Readers and industry professionals who have registered for BLC can expect to receive periodic emails from us that include important updates regarding the event.
All of the authors listed on our Authors Attending page have purchased their registration and confirmed that they will attend. However, authors are people too, and sometimes circumstances beyond our control require a schedule change. If an author cancels their appearance, we will update the Author's Attending page immediately.
We will send an announcement email to everyone subscribed to our newsletter with the opening and closing dates of each BLC event registration. Updates to registration openings will also be available on our website countdown clock.
Yes. To help facilitate a comfortable, safe, and fun environment, most of our events will have a cap on attendees. Once the cap is reached, registration will be closed, and day passes will not be available.
Yes! Each convention provides different meals and snacks. Please see the FAQ for the convention you're attending for a list of provided meals, books, and swag. Please be advised that there will be additional opportunities to pick up books and swag throughout the convention that are built into the registration pricing. These items are first come, first served!

All Readers and Industry Pros who purchase a BLC registration for Book Lovers Con on or before the deadline noted in the giveaway will be automatically entered to win.
No. You will be responsible for getting to and from the events/hotel. Please check your specific events FAQ for airport/hotel shuttles and hotel parking discounts for which you may qualify.
While we would love to host every reader for the full event, we understand that life demands flexibility. But, at this time, we cannot offer a single day pass.
We cannot process partial payments. If you choose the multiple payment option and fail to complete the payment within 15 days of the final payment due date, your registration will be canceled without a refund. You will have the option to finish your payments and then sell your ticket, via the BLC WaitList Ticket Sells Form.

No, the time for rollovers has passed.
You must register to book a room in our room block. When you register, you will receive a link to reserve a room. A one-night rate and applicable tax will be charged upon making the reservation.
When you register and receive your link to the hotel, reserve a regular room. Then contact hotel@bookloverscon.com with your registration number and tell them what sort of suite you want. A team member will assist you in upgrading.
You can request to be added to the waitlist once the room block is filled. You can then reserve a room at a hotel near the event venue (make sure it is a reservation where you can get your deposit back). If you have questions, you can contact hotel@bookloverscon.com.
Unfortunately, we will not be matching roommates. However, we suggest that you post on our Facebook page about looking for roommates. Be sure to include the dates of your booking and how many roommates you are looking for.
Only one person needs to make the reservation through the reservation link that will appear in your confirmation. Decide who will make the reservation for the group; they will reserve the room and include the names of every roommate on the reservation. Your other roommates will also receive a link to make a hotel reservation, but they MUST NOT USE IT. If they do use the link, you will have two rooms booked. When you check-in, each person should give his or her name to be put on the reservation.
No. Signings are not open to the public, you must have a BLC event badge to attend.
Yes! Everyone may bring up to eight (8) books into the BLC’s Signings. To ensure every reader has a chance to meet their favorite, only up to two books per author maximum to sign.

Book Lovers Con has a strict Harassment Policy - which can be found following the link on the top of this page.
For the safety, security, and comfort of our attendees, no one may enter the Book Lovers Con events, panels, and parties without a badge and following current CDC guidelines.
Anyone without a badge. If anyone is found in this area without their badge or wristband they will be asked to leave and retrieve their badge/wristband.
If you attend the Book Lovers Con without paying for your registration, you will be asked to leave and billed for the entire amount of the event.
