We've outlined four options for sending your books and swag to the event. Below, you'll find a detailed list of these options along with their associated costs.
Bring your items with you when you check into the hotel. For those of you who are driving, this could be the most convenient and cost-effective solution.
Please note that all parcels will incur a receiving charge, which is determined by the weight of each package. Keep in mind that this fee is subject to change, so it's a good idea to check with the hotel for the most current rates.
Your packages will be delivered to us upon our arrival, and we'll set them aside for you to pick up. The hotel will bill you for this service when you check in, using the same pricing as Option 2. The advantage of this option is that you won't need to request hotel staff to move your items to the convention space, as we have a dedicated room set up for this purpose. Please ensure you place an Event ID number on the label so we can easily identify it and set it aside for you.
Send your items to BLC before the event, ensuring they arrive by April 24th. This option offers the advantage of early notification if any package is damaged, allowing us to inform you before your arrival.
We use an Event ID system for each event in our program to ensure items are delivered to the correct location. This system is also helpful if you want us to handle the delivery. Our team of three dedicated staff members uses these IDs to ensure everything is placed correctly and on time.
We can assign an Event ID number to you for books, swag and personal items that are not to be delivered directly to the event but set aside for you to pick up. Alternatively, you can use the Author Personal ID 921, but please ensure your name i son the label.
