The registration fee is $450. This fee includes one table at the Market, one Author Fest signing day slot, and one free companion.

Author Fest Signing Days

Your registration fee includes a table on Saturday, May 29 from 3 PM to 6 PM for book sales and author signings.

Authors are able to pay to participate in a second, limited author signing day on Friday, May 28 from 4 PM to 6PM where we will be introducing each author and the genres they write in a more intimate setting. This can be very beneficial to new and indie authors looking to make new lifelong fans, compared to the larger Author Fest on Saturday.

Author Classification

We know that there are many different ways to sell your books. Here are the definitions we’re using:

Traditional Authors: Individuals who will allow BLC to order and sell their books at the Market.

Indie Authors: Individuals who will order, bring, set up, and sell books at their own table.

Hybrid Authors: A mix of the two above. For these individuals, we recommend having different books for the Market and the Book Fest.

Once we’ve started collecting registration information, we will send a follow-up email to ask about book lists, book orders, and pre-order links.

Please note that we currently use Author Author to purchase books. For authors considering pre-order links for readers but who don’t have a system in place, several of our authors have used Beventi.

Add-Ons

We encourage you to take advantage of as many opportunities as your time and capacity allow. Below is a list of optional add-ons to capitalize on.

Additional Intimate Author Signing Day (Friday) – $225
This upgrade includes one additional signing day slot on Friday and covers the hotel fee for each 6′ table.

Additional Tables for Book Fest – $250
This price is per table per day and includes the cost for any related administrative work. Additional table requests will be limited and contingent on available space.

Professional Development Sessions – $100
New! We’ve seen and heard the demand for professional development content for our authors. There will be a range of content for everyone, from aspiring to seasoned authors; further details to be announced. Topics will include self-promotion, social media how-tos, and what it means to build a web presence.
